Portopia are happy to be part of the very first Square Eyes TV Festival - an event that delves into television’s fascinating past, its ever-changing present and its possible future at a time when the Midlands is finally putting itself back on the televisual map. From exclusive screenings to rare archive to live Q&As - you name it, our square eyes will be focused on it.

Portopia are delighted to have been awarded the BBC's innovative Small Indie Fund. The fund is available to companies working across factual, entertainment, comedy, drama and daytime genres, and is granted on a company by company basis - based on the strength of creative potential and the ability to deliver to our strategy.

Portopia will be working alongside Showtrial and Call The Midwife producer Mona Qureshi to develop several fresh and diverse projects.
